Print is not dead! Let me prove it.
Constructed from an antique issue of Juxtapoz, one of my favorite art magazines, I inherited after my cousin from my late cousin. In contrary to my other work where I use pieces from several publications and everyday objects, this spread is entirely from a single edition except for two hidden stickers from a nonprofit I work with called End Overdose.
Made exactly six weeks after moving across the country from a California beach town to Manhattan. Clearly I enjoy broadway productions. Scouring for materials in a location was one of my favorite early New York adventures.
Old New York, Entertainment, and Queen Elizabeth! As someone enamored by performance who else but the late Queen of England to embody that craft. Created before actually living in New York and having the credentials to comment on the city's cultural and physical evolution.
